For History Channel’s Vikings, I developed period-authentic artwork for Athelstan’s journal. After testing various papers, I selected coarse mulberry, stained it, and ripped the edges to create an aged look. The illustrations and lettering were hand-drawn in rough charcoal appropriate for the period, then revised before the final pages were bound and covered by the talented prop team
